This kitchen used to be U shaped and had steel cabinets. The countertops were replaced with
a beautiful Calacutta marble which is usually white with grey veins running through it. New cabinets were added on one wall with flat wood panels including the refrigerator for a seamless look. On the other walls instead of upper cabinets, wood shelves were hung to create an open, simple feel. The Calacutta marble was extended up the walls as the backsplash to provide continuity. We built a custom wood panel for the dining area to create a focal point. The hood was made with the same wood as the cabinets.
