Santa Monica Galley Kitchen

A kitchen was given an update from the 1960s with new wood cabinetry and subway tile. New white countertops, new hardware, soft close cabinets were installed to modernize the space. A sky blue subway tile was added as backsplash making a nice contrast against the light colored wood stain. The dining room wood panel walls were a darker color, we stripped the color, sanded and re-stained in a lighter color. A column was removed at the peninsula in order to provide a more open feel into the dining room. The end result is a light and cheery feel to the home.
